Evin Roman, who tied with Flavien Prat for the riding title at the spring-summer meeting at Santa Anita, had an excellent start to the Los Alamitos summer meeting on Thursday with two wins on an eight-race card.

Roman may have more success in the final six races on Friday.

He rides morning-line favorite Decoded (5) in the third race. 

Later in the program, he rides Two Six Wins (5) in the fifth race, and Precious Dixie (9) in the sixth race.
