Trainer Mac Robertson said last week the undefeated 3-year-old filly Amy's Challenge was possible for a start in the $125,000 Martha Washington on Saturday at Oaklawn, but that he was more likely to await the track's Grade 3, $125,000 Honeybee on March 10. Robertson said on Tuesday morning plans are to target the Honeybee.
The Honeybee, at a mile and a sixteenth, is the final prep for the Grade 3, $400,000 Fantasy on April 13 at Oaklawn.
Amy's Challenge won the $125,000 Dixie Belle over opening weekend at Oaklawn to improve her career record to 3-for-3. She is a Triple Crown nominee who won the first two starts of her career over male rivals. She races for Novogratz Racing Stable.
