Curlin's Journey, who finished second in Sunday's ninth race at a mile on turf, was disqualified and placed fifth for causing interference as the field approached the first turn of a $75,000 claimer for maidens.

The board of stewards conducted an inquiry before changing the order of finish.

Curlin's Journey, who was ridden by Mario Gutierrez, drifted to the inside and bumped Sekhmet's Revenge, who appeared to clip heels with Mischievious Song who was racing in front of Sekhmet's Revenge.

Sekhmet's Revenge finished fifth. Curlin's Journey, the 2-1 favorite, was placed behind Sekhmet's Revenge.

Mischievious Song (3-1) quickly dropped out of contention and was pulled up on the backstretch. Mischievious Song was later jogged off the track accompanied by a pony.

The race was won by Bunny Yogurt ($8.40) who rallied to catch Curlin's Journey in the final strides and win by a head.
