Salty, making her first start since the Grade 1 Cotillion at Parx more than five months earlier, asserted her class edge in Thursday's $52,000 allowance headliner, rallying wide and from off the pace under jockey Tyler Gaffalione to a popular victory over runner-up Victory Rally. Salty, who captured the Grade 2 Gulfstream Park Oaks last spring, was Grade 1 placed on three occasions during her 3-year-old campaign.  Trained by Mark Casse, Salty returned $3.00. Due to a Trakus timer malfunction, final time for the mile was not immediately available.
