An odds-on favorite and a 30-1 longshot accounted for the closing night stakes Saturday at Delta Downs.
Bitsy's Afleet ($3.80) delivered at 4-5 in the $80,000 Pelican for 3-year-olds bred in Louisiana. He won by two and a half lengths over Grand Luwegee.
Midnight Ruler ($62.80) wired the field in the $80,000 Owner Appreciation Cup, winning by three lengths over Bellarmine.
