Derby Watch members Bravazo, Sporting Chance work Monday for Lukas

Derby Watch members Bravazo and Sporting Chance both put in sharp works Monday at Oaklawn for Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas. Bravazo is pointing for the Louisiana Derby at Fair Grounds and Sporting Chance is on deck for the Rebel at Oaklawn.

It is a sunny morning in the 50s and the track is fast Monday.

Sporting Chance worked first set by himself, going a half-mile in 47 seconds, according to Oaklawn head clocker Jim Hamilton. Hamilton carried the horse galloping out five-eighths in 1:00.

Bravazo worked second set, also by himself, going five-eighths in 1:00, according to Hamilton.
