Tizzelle, away since she won a NY-bred second-level allowance here last Nov. 29, circled the field entering the stretch under Joe Bravo and motored past two Chad Brown returnees to win this open first-level allowance race.
Tizzelle ($5.20) was ridden to victory by Joe Bravo for James Bond.
Icespire, a daughter of Frankel who broke a step slow before she wound up stalking stablemate House of Dixie, finished second, with Jaunt a late-rallying third. House of Dixie, away for 20 months, faded to fifth of six.
