Blended Citizen (9-2) rallied from well off the pace under Kevin Frey to go by Core Beliefs to win the Grade 3, $350,000 Peter Pan Stakes by a little more than a length.

Core Beliefs was second followed by Just Whistle and True North.

Blended Citizen, trained by Doug O'Neill, is likely headed to the Belmont Stakes, a race his connections have prevoiusly talked about.

Tonalist, in 2014, was the last horse to win both the Peter Pan and Belmont Stakes. The last two winners of the Peter Pan, Timeline and Unified, did not run in the Belmont.
