Lone Star Park puts on a special Tuesday night card, with the program to be followed by fireworks. First post is 5 p.m. Central. The 10-race card features three allowances, all on the grass. The program opens with an optional $35,000 claiming turf sprint and includes a pair of first-level allowances at a mile and a sixteenth on turf, both for 3-year-olds and up bred in Texas.
The forecast for Tuesday in Grand Prairie, Texas, calls for a high of 103 degrees and no precipitation, according to The Weather Channel.

Lone Star will have an additional twilight program Wednesday, starting at 5 p.m. Central, with fireworks also to follow the card. The track will then be dark until July 13.
