Shotsoft ($7.80) became a stakes winner Tuesday night when he darted to a clear victory over the late charging  Mucho Dinero in the off-the-turf El Joven at Retama Park.

The winner covered the mile for 2-year-olds on a sloppy, sealed track in 1:40.62. Eddie Martin, Jr., was aboard for trainer Karl Broberg. 

Shotsoft is a full brother to multiple stakes winner Supermason and he races for M and M Racing.
