2yof Slimey could be one to watch

Yes, it was only an off-turf field of maidens at Indiana Grand, but Slimey did catch the eye just now winning the second start of her career. Buried behind horses along the rail in upper stretch, Slimey was steered out and came home with an impressive run, gaining several lengths into the 12.09 final furlong of this five-furlong race. That's good on the clock and Slimey was equally impressive in a visual sense. The filly, trained by Brendan Walsh for Madaket Stables and Hat Creek Racing, is by Quality Road out of Argue, by Storm Cat.
