Saturday Woodbine preview

After initially being on the turf, Woodbine took the races off the turf around 11:15 a.m. It's a party cloudy, cold day, with a strong west wind.

Leading apprentice Kazushi Kimura will ride today. He got kicked in the paddock yesterday and was off his last few mounts, but agent Jordan Miller said he's fine.

"We went to the hospital for precaution; got X-rays; just made sure everything was good," Miller said.

Kimura begins a three-day suspension for a riding infraction on Sunday.

Line of Vision is the 5-2 morning line favorite in the $100K La Prevoyante Stakes. The closer is unbeaten over the mile and a sixteenth trip of the Tapeta race. She has a rabbit to chase in the form of another Joey Gee runner, Stormy Summer, who will be ridden by Kimura.

Zestina is coming off back-to-back stakes scores on turf, and is questionable in her first start around two turns. She's Got Fire, She's the Berries and Clickity Clack are all in with a chance.

The Jackpot Hi 5 carryover heading into the 11th and final race is nearly $5K.
