Sunday's final race of the autumn meeting includes the $1 super high five, which has a carryover of $15,961 and a mandatory payout on this closing day.
The pool of new money could surpass $125,000. The ninth race is a maiden special weigh race at a mile on turf for 2-year-olds with a field of nine. Emotional Wreck (3), Caecilius (7) and Silent Musketier (8) will not start from an original field of 12.
The favorite is expected to be Mobou (11), who is trained by John Shirreffs. Mobou was second by a head in a maiden special weight race for California-breds at 6 1-2 furlongs on dirt at Santa Anita on Sept. 29. This will be Mobou's first start on turf and his fourth race.
