Laurel: Songbird's half-sister Song of Mine can't reel in Last Love

Last Love ($23.80) held off Song of Mine by about a half-length to win race 6 at Laurel Park. Song of Mine, a 4-year-old half-sister to two-time champion Songbird, remains a maiden after five starts.

Last Love was making her fifth start. She is trained by William Komlo and was ridden by seven-pound apprentice Julio Correa, who has now won twice on the card.

Song of Mine was an $800,000 Keeneland September yearling purchase in 2016 by the PTK LLC of Paula Haughey.
