I’ve become a huge fan of CARIBOU CLUB (9) over the past year. His ability to handle different circumstances is admirable; he’s won races all across the United States and won on all sorts of turf configurations. Today, he’ll look to take care of business in the G1 Al Quoz sprint over a straight six-furlong run at Meydan. Because of his foundation and ability to handle longer runs, I think he should be able to handle this demanding 3/4 sprint over the straight; he’s currently 5-1 with 22 MTP, and I’m hopeful he drifts into the 7-1 or 8-1 range by post time.
