Improbable will run in the Preakness Stakes on May 18 and Mike Smith will be his rider, Bob Baffert just informed.
Improbable crossed the wire fifth and was promoted to fourth in the Kentucky Derby on Saturday following the disqualification of Maximum Security.
Smith will be riding him for the first time. Irad Ortiz Jr. rode Improbable in the Derby.
