Stakes action on Belmont Stakes Day begins with the Easy Goer, a race which I don't have a strong opinion on. ALWAYSMINING (6) makes plenty of sense exiting the Preakness, and Outshine was spun extremely wide rounding the first turn of the Wood most recently; he's certainly better than that effort would suggest.

My "pick" in the race is GRUMPS LITTLE TOTS (3), but it's a tepid selection at best. I thought his maiden score two starts back was visually unspectacular, but he should move forward in his first start off the bench following a non-effort in the Wood.
