Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming worked a half mile in 49.96 seconds over the Belmont Park training track, his first breeze since he finished eighth in the Preakness on May 20.
Working by himself after the 9:30 break, Always Dreaming went in splits of 13.04 seconds, 25.15 and galloped out five furlongs in 1:04.00 and six furlongs in 1:17.54.
Earlier, Preakness winner Cloud Computing five furlongs in 1:01.80 over main track. I had him in splits of 13.38, 25.51, 37.15 and he galloped out in 1:15.71.
Both horses are expected to run in the Grade 2, $600,000 Jim Dandy at Saratoga on July 29.
