The Rainbow 6 pool at Laurel Park was refunded Sunday and some multiple race wagers that included the seventh and eighth races were considered "All winners" events after they were taken off the turf following the running of the sixth race.
Maryland racing rules require that the Rainbow 6 be canceled when two or more races are taken off the turf during the sequence. The Rainbow 6 was scheduled for races 5 to 10 Sunday but all bets were refunded after races 7 and 8 were taken off the grass. Race 5 was run over a "good" turf course and race 6 was run over "yielding" ground.
The pick five, which was held on races 6 to 10, credited bettors with winners for all horses used in races 7 and 8.
The pick three on races 6 to 8 treated all horses used in races 7 and 8 as winners.
The pick three and pick four that ended on race 7 recognized all horses used in the final leg as winners.
The pick three on races 7 to 9 was not affected because the decision to transfer races to the main track was made before the first leg of the wager was run.
