The Maryland shipper Chicago Style ($15.60) won his California debut in an optional claimer at 1 3-8 miles on turf in Wednesday's sixth race, the final leg of a $1 pick three that paid $5,865.

The winners of the $1 pick three that began in the fourth race were Beau Square ($10.80), Clean Living ($64.60) and Chicago Style.

Clean Living was the first Del Mar winner for Bill McClean, who has a 20-horse stable at Golden Gate Fields and six horses based here this summer.

The massive pick three suggests there will be a two-day carryover in the pick six, though nothing is confirmed with two races to go.
