Trainer Karl Broberg said Girls Life (5), a scratch from the fillies division of the "Shine" Young, will run instead next Saturday in the Louisiana Cup at Louisiana Downs. He said one reason is because the six furlong distance of that race will better suit the filly, who is by Colonel John. Girls Life races for Brad Raney, who has Eye Craft still in the fillies division of the "Shine" Young, noted Broberg.
