Jockey Mike Smith, unseated from Drefong shortly after the start of Saturday's Grade 1 Bing Crosby Stakes, was taken to the track's first aid department for a check-up and was cleared within 15 minutes of the race.

Smith returned to the jockey's room after being checked over in first aid, track officials said. He did not have a mount in the 10th race, the day's final race.
