Trainer Chad Brown, underscoring his ridiculous depth in the filly and mare turf division, said he is considering running three horses Aug. 12 at Arlington in the Grade 1 Beverly D. Stakes. Brown said his prospective runners are Grand Jete, who is 3-3 since being imported from France, and the rock-solid mares Dacita, and Rainha Da Bataria.
Brown has scrapped his initial plan from late this spring of running Juddmonte Farm's Time Test in the Million, and with Time Test cutting back in trip to start in the Fourstardave at Saratoga, Brown said his lone Million runner is likely to be Beach Patrol.
