The top race on Friday's eight-race program is the $75,000 Daisycutter Handicap for fillies and mares at five furlongs on turf.
As the day's third race, the Daisycutter is the first race of a pick six that begins with a carryover of $11,253 in the single ticket jackpot pool that is paid only if there is a single winning ticket. The single ticket jackpot pool was hit for $603,613 on Wednesday.
There are only five runners in the Daisycutter following the scratch of morning-line favorite Desert Steel.
Long Hot Summer (2) is a contender. She was third in the 2016 Daisycutter.
