Del Mar: Puglisi gains much-needed first win of year

Veteran jockey Iggy Puglisi guided Airfoil ($6.60) to victory in Saturday's second race, a $16,000 claimer against three rivals.

For Puglisi, 43, the win was his first since November and was his 87th mount this year.

Puglisi has one more mount on Saturday - aboard Pattin for a Dance (2) in the fourth race, a $16,000 claimer for fillies and mares that have not won two races at 6 1-2 furlongs.
