There is little separating the leaders in the jockey and trainer standings at the start of the racing week on Wednesday at Del Mar.

Through Sunday, the 20th day of the 36-day meeting, apprentice jockey Evin Roman leads all riders with 22 wins, two more than Flavien Prat. Rafael Bejarano is third with 16 wins followed by Kent Desormeaux at 13.

Roman rode at Emerald Downs on Sunday, yielding some ground in the standings. He is booked to ride seven of the eight races on Wednesday. Prat has mounts on four races.

Phil D'Amato leads all trainers with 12 wins, two more than Doug O'Neill. Richard Baltas is third with eight wins.
