Arch of Troy ($35.80) gave veteran trainer Mark Tsagalakis his first career win at Del Mar in Thursday's third race for maiden claimers at a mile on turf.

Tsagalakis, 54, has just a few horses in training at any time. Arch of Troy was the trainer's first winner of the year with his fourth runner, and his first win since a maiden claimer at Los Alamitos in April, 2016 - a span of six races.

Arch of Troy won the first leg of a pick six that drew a pool of $359,451. The program begin with two pick six carryyovers - $95,368 in the main pool and $60,540 in the single ticket jackpot pool.
