Six $50,000 Stakes for Washington-bred or sired horses make up the bulk of the 11-race card that begins at 2:30 p.m Pacific. Four of the races were open to B.C.-bred or sired horses but none were entered.
Mach One Rules looks pretty salty in the featured Muckleshoot Tribal Classic for 3-year-olds and up. The Frank Lucarelli-trained 4-year-old is coming off a runner-up finish in the Grade 3, $200,000 Longacres Mile Aug. 13.
Citizen Kitty is even more formidable in the Fillies and Mares race. She won the $65,000 Distaff for trainer Jeff Metz, also on Aug. 13.
The all-stakes Pick 4 begins with the Juvenile Fillies in Race 4 where Bella Mia can be singled in the 6-furlong dash that drew eight horses.
