The final week of the Del Mar summer meeting begins on Wednesday with tight contests for the title of leading jockey and leading trainer.
Through Sunday, Flavien Prat led all riders with 28 wins, holding a two-race advantage over Evin Roman and Rafael Bejarano. Roman and Bejarano have leading mounts on Wednesday.
Prat is in the middle of a three-day suspension for causing inteference in a race on Aug. 20. The suspension ends on Thursday.
Phil D'Amato is the leading trainer with 15 wins, a two-race advantage over Richard Baltas and Doug O'Neill. All three have runners on Wednesday.
