An upset win by Axelrod ($52.60) in Wednesday's pick six has caused a carryover of $47,730 in the main pick six pool and a carryover of $10,228 in the single ticket jackpot pool.
The pick six began on Wednesday without any carryovers after the bet was hit on Sunday.
Going into Wednesday's eighth race, two horses were covered to single tickets in the pick six - Flip the Coin Jan and Take Charge Deputy. Flip the Coin Jan, the 2-1 favorite, finsihed second, while Take Charge Deputy was not a factor.
Thursday's eight-race program begins at 2 p.m., Pacific.
The single ticket portion of the pool is paid only if there is one winning ticket, but all pick six pools must be paid on Monday, the closing day of the summer meeting.
