Gamble's Ghost impressive in Belle Mahone

Gamble's Ghost ($6.10) rallied powerfully on the outside from last to win the mile and a sixteenth Belle Mahone Stakes over 22-1 outsider Silver Sidney and the troubled favorite, Ice Festival.

Luis Contreras rode Gamble's Ghost for owner Ivan Dalos and trainer Josie Carroll. That threesome won the G3 Seaway Stakes with Ami's Mesa last weekend.
