Ivan Fallunovalot set the pace and rolled to a five and three-quarter length win in his comeback race Saturday night at Remington Park, where he covered six furlongs in 1:08.28. The alowance race was his first start since March.
Ivan Fallunovalot ($3.40) overtook Meme Jo soon after the start Saturday, and proceeded to put up fractions of 21.84 seconds for the opening quarter and 44.06 for the half-mile on a track rated fast. Luis Quinonez was aboard for Lewis Matthews, Jr., and trainer Tom Howard.
Howard said earlier this week that the meet objective for Ivan Fallunovalot is the David M. Vance Sprint, which will be run Sept. 24, on the Oklahoma Derby Day card at Remington.
