Gorgeous Kitten has been scratched from the Super Derby at Louisiana Downs, leaving a field of five for the featured race on a card of seven stakes. Gorgeous Kitten will instead run Sunday at Kentucky Downs, trainer Mike Maker told Daily Racing Form's Byron King.

Other stakes scratches include Sister Blues from the River Cities, Snack Shack from the Tellike and High Noon Rider from the Unbridled. High Noon Rider is entered in a Saturday race at Kentucky Downs.

The main track is anticipated as fast and the turf, firm, on what one steward called a beautiful day for racing. First post is 12 noon Central.
