Daz Lin Dawn wrapped up local Horse of the Year honors with a neck win over Yukon Belle in the $100,000 British Columbia Oaks. She paid $4.50.
With Richard Hamel aboard she came from a stalking position to win the 1 1/8 miles race. Top Quality rallied to finish third.
The final time was 1:51.77.
