Jockey Tyler Baze is riding sparingly at the Los Alamitos meeting this month, but when he does ride he is worth following.

Through Saturday's first race, Baze has won with half of his six mounts. The latest was Adventurous ($4.40) in the first race on Saturday.

Baze has five more mounts, several of which look capable of a win. His next mount is On a Toot (1), who is a 6-1 shot on the morning-line to win a maiden claimer at a mile.

Later, he rides Chatty (2) in the fifth, Go On Mary (4) in the seventh, Exuberance (3) in the eighth and Overcome (6) in the ninth.
