Oscar Performance, last year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf winner and the elite 3-year-old grass horse of this year, breezed  a half-mile in 49.60 seconds Sunday on a firm Keeneland turf course in preparation for the Breeders' Cup Turf at Del Mar Nov. 4. (Kee video included in this posting)

“His big work will be next week and then he will ship on the 27th,” trainer Brian Lynch told Keeneland publicity.

Trainer Wesley Ward had four Breeders’ Cup possible entrants work five furlongs on the grass.

Breezing together were Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) hopefuls Ultima D (1:02.80) and Fairyland (1:03.20). Also working in company were Master Merion (Turf Sprint, 1:04.80) and Hemp Hemp Hurray (Juvenile Turf, 1:05.60).
