BARREL OF DREAMS (2) set an outrageous pace in the Hettinger most recently before understandably tiring late. Considering she laid down fractions of :46 to the half and 1:09 and change for 3/4 of a mile, it's safe to say had she gone just a bit slower, she'd have had a puncher's chance against a better field than she'll face today. 

John Velazquez gets reacquainted with Barrel of Dreams today, and she should either find herself on the lead or pressing throughout. She's a major contender in the Ticonderoga, and she's a decent price (7/2) with 17 minutes to post.
