Remington Park in Oklahoma City was forced to cancel the final five races of its Saturday night card due to inclement weather. Heavy thunderstorms and lightning moved into the area and there were high winds, according to a release from the track.
Remington was able to run the first four races on the card, then canceled when the field for the fifth race was in the saddling paddock. There was a 25 minute delay with the hope that the storm would pass, according to a release from Remington.
The next scheduled card for Remington is Wednesday night.
