The $100,000 Harvest Plate, the showcase race of the newly opened Century Downs, headlines an 11-race card that begins at 12:50 p.m. Mountain. The first two races are the $20,000 Canada Quarter Horse Cup Derby and the $15,000 Century Downs Cup Classic for Quarter Horses. Also supporting the Harvest Plate is the $50,000 Founders Distaff Handicap where the sensational 3-year-old filly Escape Clause will be a short price to win 1 1/16 miles race for fillies and mares.

The 7-furlong Harvest Plate appears to be a wide-open race with the 5-2 morning-line favorite Venetian Mask cutting back to a sprint after finishing third going 1 3/8 miles in the Grade 3 B.C. Premier's at Hastings just 13 days ago.

There is a $15,000 guaranteed pool in the late Pick 4 which begins on Race 8.
