In Thursday's first race, Rosie My Rosie ($28) scored an upset win in a $32,000 claimer for jockey Martin Pedroza and trainer Bob Hess, Jr.
The result did not affect the changes among the leading jockeys and trainers. Going into Thursday's program, Evin ROman led all riders with 13 wins, one more than Kent Desormeaux and two more than Tyler Baze. Desormeaux is not riding on Thursday because of illness. He was booked to ride Rosie My Rosie.
Among trainer, Richard Baltas has nine wins, one more than Peter Miller. Phil D'Amato and Vladimir Cerin are tied for third with six wins.
The meeting concludes on Sunday.
