Apprentice jockey Evin Roman will win the riding title at the autumn meeting that ends on Sunday.

Roman won his 19th race of the meeting on Pica ($7.20) in the fourth race. He has a four-race lead on Kent Desormeaux,who has only three remaining mounts. Jockey Tyler Baze is third with 14 wins, and has three more mounts.

Roman has won or tied for four riding titles this year. Prior to this meeting, he won the Santa Anita spring-summer meeting, the Los Alamitos July meeting and the Los Alamitos September meeting.
