Rancor, who finished sixth in Saturday's fourth race for maidens on turf, was disqualified from sixth and placed 12th for causing interference in the first turn.
Rancor, who was ridden by Evin Roman, was judged to have drifted to the inside and forced jockey Laura Werner to check the longshot Roses and Candy, who drifted out on the first turn affecting two other runners.
Through Friday, Roman was the leading rider at this meeting, which began on Dec. 26. Roman could face a suspension for the incident, pending a hearing with track stewards on Sunday morning.
No betting combinations were affected by the disqualification.
