Artistic Diva, unbeaten in two starts, has been withdrawn from Sunday's Grade 2 Santa Ynez Stakes because of a hock infection, trainer John Sadler said in a text message.

Sadler said the timetable"shouldn't be long" before Artistic Diva is able to return to training.

Artistic Diva was a 6-1 chance in the $200,000 Santa Ynez Stakes at seven furlongs for 3-year-old fillies. Her absence leaves Win the War (7) as a stronger favorite in the remaining eight runners.
