Acker, the winner of a $40,000 to $50,000 claimer for maidens at a mile on turf in Sunday's third race, was claimed for $50,000 by trainer Peter Miller in a four-way shake.

Acker ($4.40) rallied on the rail to beat 5-2 Big Sky Logan by 1 1-2 lengths. Acker, a 4-year-old colt by Include, had his sixth start on Sunday. He was owned by Alain and Gerard Wertheimer and trained by Richard Mandella.
