Oaklawn puts on the first of its four Kentucky Derby points races on Monday with the running of the $150,000 Smarty Jones. The race that drew seven is expected to go with a field of five, among the defections Navistar, who had travel issues, according to John Panagot, racing manager for Bob LaPenta. 

It is a sunny morning in the 30s at Oaklawn, where the track is fast. First post is 1 p.m. Central.
