Race 6: All Clear (5) is a deserving favorite off a fast debut win, but he’s going to have to deal with some other speed types to his inside. I think the best alternative is Wegotoldyougotsold (4), who took a significant step forward in his second start and should sit a perfect trip in behind the speeds today.
Race 7: In what is probably the toughest race in the sequence, I’m interested in a pair of second-time starters. Lem Me Tel Ya (5) ran very well on turf in his debut, but has a pedigree that suggests he can easily make this transition to dirt. Comeoncomeoncat (7) raced over a sloppy track in his first start, but finished a solid third to the talented Flash Drive. He should be a square price. I think you also have to use logical favorite Collective Effort (4), as well as firsters like the (1) entry and Killala Bay (10). A spread race.
Race 8: I’m leaning heavily on the favored entry, as both Cotton Candy Cutie (1) and North End (1A) are strong contenders for top honors.
Race 9: The finale is primarily a two-horse race between speedballs Velvet Trinni (5) and Missimpazi (6). Hot Possebility (1) and Classy Cara (3) are minor backups, in case the top two go nuts on the front end and knock each other out.
