Song of Mine, a 3-year-old half-sister to champion Songbird, will make her career debut Thursday at Oaklawn Park. She will run in the seventh race, a maiden special weight for 3-year-old fillies at a mile. David Cohen has the mount from post 2 for PTK LLC and trainer Dane Kobiskie.
Song of Mine is by Ghostzapper and like Songbird is out of the Grade 2-winning mare Ivanavinalot. Both horses were bred by John Antonelli. Songbird, by Medaglia d'Oro, raced for Fox Hill Farms. She was an earmer of more than $4.6 million.
Song of Mine was an $800,000 yearling purchase in 2016.
