The first foal by Texas Bling was born Sunday morning in Texas, according to Danele Durham, who trained the multiple stakes winner. The filly is from the stakes-winning mare I'm Workin On It.
Texas Bling, an earner of $406,072, is one of the leading earners for Too Much Bling, a perennial leading sire in Texas.
Texas Bling stands at ESMS on the Brazos in Weatherford, Texas, for Hall’s Family Trust. He entered stud in 2017. Texas Bling stands for $1,500.
The foal born Sunday is a chestnut filly with a full blaze and three white stockings.
“She is a blinger,” quipped Durham.
Texas Bling's richest win came at 2 in the $300,000 Springboard Mile in 2012 at Remington Park. He won over a field that included eventual champion Will Take Charge. Texas Bling also was a two-time winner of the Assault Stakes at Lone Star Park.
