Bigger Picture ($3.80) closed with a rush to win the Grade 3, $200,000 Connally Turf Cup for the second year in a row Sunday at Sam Houston. Jose Ortiz was aboard for Three Diamonds Farm and trainer Mike Maker. 

Maker has now won six of the last seven runnings of the Connally. 

Bigger Picture won over Some in Tieme, while Chicago Style finished third and Camelot Kitten, fourth. 

The winning time for the mile and a half over good turf was 2:31.13. 

Bigger Picture, who last year won the United Nations at Monmouth, went over $1 million in earnings with the victory.
