All-sources handle on the 14-race Fountain of Youth card today here at Gulfstream was $28,541,305, up nearly 7 percent over the corresponding date last year, when 13 races produced nearly $26.7 million.

In a somewhat related note, starting Wednesday, all overnight purses at GP will undergo a 10-percent increase through the end of the championship meet (April 1), an announcement the track made a week or so ago. Stakes purses are not affected.
